Yesterday evening, Prof. David Cole-Hamilton, EuChemS President, was one of the speakers at the Café Chimique on the “The Future for Collaborative Research and Innovation in Europe”. In this event, which was the first 2017 event of the UK´s Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Belgium section, Prof. Cole-Hamilton talked about the current research collaboration possibilities and limitations of Horizon 2020 and how should these be addressed in the post-Horizon 2020 funding programme. During his presentation, he also looked into the possible effects of “brexit” in research.
