On 28 September, the Open Science Policy Platform (OSPP), a High-Level Group of stakeholders tasked to advise the European Commission on Open Science policy met for the 6th time to discuss the latest updates on Open Science in Europe. EuChemS is represented on the High-Level group by Executive Board Member Wolfram Koch.
The OSPP has a new Chair, Eva Mendez Rodriguez who has expressed her desire to see missions turned into actions. The meeting moreover broached the important, if controversial, subject of ‘Plan S’, which aims to accelerate the transition to full and immediate Open Access to scientific publications.
