The European Young Chemists’ Network (EYCN) will organise an event at the ECC8 which will focus on how to make the science of chemistry open, accessible and inclusive for everyone.
During this interactive session, scheduled for 30 August afternoon, questions of ethics and diversity will be discussed with the audience, and amongst the panelists,
The panel will consist of Ale Palermo, who is responsible for Inclusion and Diversity at the RSC, Pilar Goya, EuChemS Vice President and head of the Task Group on Inclusion and Diversity, and Jan Mehlich, the creator of the EuChemS online course on “Good Chemistry: Methodological, Ethical and Social Implications” – as well as two young researchers yet to be introduced.
