EuChemS hosts GWB2025 webinar

On 11 February 2025, EuChemS organised its Global Women’s Breakfast (GWB) webinar, part of the #GWB initiative launched by The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). The event, titled “Reaching for the Quarks, Fair and Equal Chances in Cutting-Edge Science and Technology” focused on promoting equal opportunities for women in science and innovation.

Hosted by Angela Agostiano, President of EuChemS, the event featured distinguished speakers, including Iwona Gulaczyk, Giulia Napoli, Sílvia Osuna, and Snežana Zarić, who shared their insights into advancing women’s roles in cutting-edge scientific fields. Moderated by Noah Al-Shamery, the webinar highlighted the importance of diversity in research and innovation.

The event is part of a global initiative with 397 breakfast events listed on the IUPAC map, aiming to empower women in science worldwide.
