The conference organizers try to build up a multidisciplinary forum – with one of the conference aims being bringing together scientists and research workers in glyco(chemistry)science with specialists in the polysaccharide industry. In spite of the title of the conference, topics discussed at this occasion will not be devoted only to glycomics as such, but at considerable extent go beyond these limits, in the field of pharmacy, ecology, human nutrition.
