EuChemS Secretary General Nineta Hrastelj attended the 66th Polish Chemical Society Conference, held on 15-20 September, in Poznan, Poland. The event was organised jointly with the 11th Congress of Chemical Technology. Chemistry Nobel Prize laureate Ben Feringa was amongst the invited speakers.
During the event, on the invite of Polish Chemical Society President Izabela Nowak, Nineta Hrastelj met with Ukrainian colleagues, who are in the process of organising their national chemical society. At the meeting, they have expressed interest in joining EuChemS in the near future – which would mean the enlargement and strengthening of the European Chemistry Community.
