Brussels News Update - July 2018

Hello and welcome to the July edition of the EuChemS’ newsletter Brussels News Updates. On 18 and 19 June, the EuChemS Executive Board met in the picturesque town of Bern, Switzerland. Between brown bear spotting and rösti indulging, the Board discussed many important topics – from activities for the International Year of the Periodic Table (IYPT2019) to the upcoming online course on ethics and chemistry, from the new EuChemS logo to be unveiled at the 7th EuChemS Chemistry Congress to our recent policy activities. EuChemS also attended this year’s Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF) in Toulouse where science, policy and communications were at the forefront of discussions.
