EuChemS is honoured to introduce the Society of Physical Chemists of Serbia as one of its new Member Societies.

The application from the Serbian Society was approved at the Business Session of the 2024 EuChemS Annual Meetings by the General Assembly.

The Society of Physical Chemists of Serbia was founded in 1989 to unite scientists in the field of physical chemistry and related sciences in Serbia. With over 600 active members, the Society comprises not only physical chemists but also professionals in chemistry, pharmacology, and related disciplines. Their goals include advancing research in physicochemical sciences, promoting the role of natural sciences in society, nurturing young scientists, and encouraging education and public interest in physical chemistry. 

The Society will officially join EuChemS as a Member Society on 1 January 2025, further strengthening EuChemS’ representation across Europe.
